Sony HT-SS360 5.1 Channel Home Theater System www.jr.com 1000W RMS Rating Full HD 1080p Video Output / Complements Blu-ray Disc Players / 3 HDMI Inputs / Digital Media Port

I have a 100 rms to 3000 cap component subwoofer that I would like to use for a home theatre system. How would I power it?

THere are plenty car amps for it, however I can not find one single amp for it to use at home.

Also, how do i make it to where it can hook up into a surround sound system?

Playing the well none bass song Bassotronics-Bass i love you on my 6.1 home theater surround system on 6 sterio setting. using all the surround speakers and two subwoofers a JBL ES150 300watts rms 10" and a Eltax Atomic 12" subwoofer-not sure on the rms, also Eltax milenium 500's each housing twin 10" bass driver a 5 1/4" inch midrange and a 1" dome tweeter, center and rear center are Eltax Symphony's, rear surrounds are Eltax Discoverys all housing 4" drivers and 3/4" dome tweeters all hooked up to a Pioneer VSX D814 multi channel AV Receiver.total power just over 1200watts rms this includes subwoofers.

My 6.1 Home Cinema System, Inc... Toshiba 37" X3030db LCD tv, Toshiba HD EP30KE for Hd-dvds, Sony PS3 for games and blu-rays films, Pioneer VSX-D814 Receiver powering all speakers, Front-Eltax Millenium 500's, Center and rear Center-Eltax Symphony, Rears-Eltax Discoverys. Eltax Atomic 12" Active Subwoofer, plus extra front speakers for extra loudness when listening to music in stereo mode.

ok i have a home theater system and my friend has 15 rock fosgate subwoofer and its just sitting in the den and i was wondering if there is some way to hook it up to my home theater system and give it the power it needs since the home theater sub is 100 rms and the 15 is like 600 or 700 rms what do i need to up the power to be able to use this subwoofer

Any thoughts about this new model?

Obviously the 105 watts per channel isn't enough to power the 500 watt rms sub

Ha, at first when i purchased this i feared it might not be enough power only 50rms, i get more power from rubbing my feet on the carpet ha ha, but when i let it off its chain and played it where i liked it (half to 3/4) volume, whoooo i was wrong, this sub hits hard and you might get turned off by its weak power but its driver is so efficient, to be honest this tops any computer sub package out there, its enough to get that sonic boom effect when watching movies, and i didn't think a sub was important till i got this my music has such more of a dynamic range, I'm able to hear things ive never heard in music before... trust me you don't need the 200watt for regular use this gets the job done fine, its a fairly big box, looks very professional like and looks like it belongs in a movie theater ha ha...

Video taken in my dorm room. As the Resident Assistant, it must be known that my stereo shall be louder than others, in order to control their loudness levels on my floor :D ...or something :P can be heard 2 floors up, and 2 floors down. the bass covers 1st to 5th floor, and can be clearly heard. Lyrics can be heard a floor below and above me, and all im rocking is 2 lil jbls, and this Tang Band 8" on 100wrms for bass Analoge connection from laptop to Pioneer reciever. sub is in a jenson home theater box.
