On much demand, I decided to do aa techno sound test on my system and it turned out better than what I expected as it really shined on the mid range and high frequencies and on low end it had a lot of depth creating a live concert environment. extreme audio video smooth movies films games sound world system bass subwoofer scratch pioneer loud speakers amp sounds theater dream Imax Home Theater behringer ep4000 yorkville b&c cineplex 3d motion ride 300 inch screen ultra clear thx plus musical decibels multi channel lcd widescreen cinemascope wide how to set up onkyo jvc power amps dj midrange gauge deep effects car high end biggest audiophile dts hd dolby digital inukes dsp crown gsc yamaha 10.1 sound home theater thx ultra 7.1 big pre-amp power amplifers amplifier sub subwoofer 18000 rms real watts decibels audio system musical theatre bass rooms concert lively spacious loud led television plasma 100inches 200inches 300inches HD widescreen bright high contrast 3d ready real3d speakers loudness vs Audyssyey multeq calibration dolby digital 5.1 8.1 9.1 11.1 12.1 13.1 14.1 dts hd true dolbydigitalplus dubstep worlds best bass drops on thx ultra 2 plus
Just a quick video to show my home theater system, with the new addition of the 18" audiobahn subwoofer. also i like to collect f1 diecast models. any questions just ask. sorry for the distortion which is due to the camera mic.
I want to hook up my sony bdps370 with my home theatre system. the home theatre system is dvd, it has 1x component at the back, 1x rca, the speaker areas, no optical audio out or hdmi out.
So can i do this or not?
it is a 550W RMS System.
i have recently bought a Microlab X5 5.1 home theater system. I got it unspeakably cheap since the guy didn't use it much. problem is- the 8" 4ohms 90W RMS woofer in the subwoofer has some holes around the foam rims.
I plan on changing only the woofer with a car woofer (what you see in the car subwoofer box). My concern is- if the ratings like watt, ampere, match- should i go for one? is there anything I'm missing out on?
NOTE - not the cabinet or box, just the 8" woofer guys.
I'm thinking of building a nice home theater system. Just have a few q's about the subwoofers.
I want this system to be capable of sub-20-Hz bass, not necessarily super-duper-loud but I do want some infrasonic shake. This 18" woofer seems good: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=293-666
However, 18-inch woofers aren't as "punchy" from what I heard. Would it be OK to also use a 12-inch woofer for more punch (with the 18-inch for the deeper bass)?
Also, that 18-incher takes 2,000W RMS and 8,000W peak. The biggest home theater subwoofer plate amp puts out 1,000 watts -- is there any way to combine two of them safely?
The room will be a soundproof theater room in a basement.
I have a 3 yr old Sony DAV-DZ120K home theatre, it has a dvd player and 5.1 channel speakers..
now the dvd player is not working, the lens is gone, i dont wanna get it repaired, as everyone knows that even after repairing it works for just a few days.
I asked in sony if i can buy only a DVD player, but they are saying that its not possible....
I just want a DVD player and im ready to pay for it, but here are some issues:
1. the pins at the end of the speaker cables which go into the back of the DVD player are those plastic clip ones, which we normally have for our landline phones and also in LAN cable. New standalone DVD players have rounded female type inputs.
2. the company said the output is 800w RMS, but how can i know what rating, etc. type of DVD player i should get?
There are those jacks as mentioned by you, but the problem is the DVD player is not reading any disks, the speakers are working just fine. I want a DVD player behind which i can connect these speakers.
oh i got your point now, see the thing is the speakers are connected to the back end of the dvd player, if ur guessing that I am having a amplifier or something, then that isnt the case.
