I have a emerson home theater system model AV101. I purchased it in 2003. I don't have the instructions anymore and I can't find the manual online. I am trying to turn the subwoofer on but I can't figure out or remember how. I have used the remote and the tried turning it on by the player but I have been unsuccesful. Does anyone know how to turn the subwoofer to on. Thanks.

I have a budget of 0, give or take and would like a high-end quality home theater system under that budget. I have researched JBL, Bose, B&W, Jamo, etc but haven't found what I am looking for yet. I am planning on buying a receiver later after I purchase the system but its not quite needed yet...I think you can have a decent quality system without a receiver...but if you want to recommend a quality receiver, feel free to do so.

i just bought an Onkyo home theater system, since the receivers produce so much heat do they have internal fans??

Ok so I got this home theater system and I can't figure out how to get my xbox 360 to get surround sound on it. I plugged my 360 into the VCR in jacks on the system but it only plays in 2 channel. The Model number is MRD510 so yeah I don't know if anyone else has this surround system or not. So it's probably a piece of shit that I'll have to return to target disgruntled. But yeah any help would be appreciated. ALSO I did do a tone test every speaker works it just doesn't do six channel in aux so if there is something I did wrong (besides buy the damn thing) then I'd appreciate any help fixing it.
