I was wondering if I am going to have any problems adding a older receiver to it so that everything works properly. I will be connecting the receiver to my tv, x box 360, and the dvd player system. Or should I just get a whole new theater system which already includes a receiver. Any help is appreciated.
This is my system in my 2002 Subaru WRX. A Kenwood Excelon KDC-X693 Head Unit, 4 Polk Audio speakers, One Boston Acoustics G212 powered by an Alpine MRP-M500 amp
I'm on a rather tight budget lately, yet I still want a best-bang-for-the-buck receiver and speakers to accompany my 42" Panasonic Plasma HDTV and DV-980H OPPO Digital DVD/CD player. I'm more concerned with audio than video as I will be using SACD's & DVD-A's to enjoy Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Herbie Hancock and Debussy. Any suggestions from experienced owners/dealers?
While I'm at it - what about headphones? Will my standard Sony's support SACD/DVD-A playback or do I need a specialized type?
Thank you in advance. Your time and knowledge is greatly appreciated and valued.
I have added some new equipment and I want to see if my money was well spent. With luck, there is a recent movie that is worth watching AND has a good surround sound (Dolby 5.1) audio track that really demonstrates the use of all 5 speakers.
This is a quick video of my system which includes Klipsch Reference speaker all around RF-35 fronts, RC-35 center, RB-35 surounds and a RW-12 subwoofer. The receiver is a Sony DA3000ES and the TV is a Mitsubishi 60" DLP. The blu-ray player is a Sony PS3.
i have recently acquired a infinity home theater system that includes two small back speakers and the surround around the cone as completely come apart and the same goes for the subwoofer....i need a very cheap way to fix this if possible...
